Outdoor Area

Children can freely access the two outdoor learning environments, which also follows the same organisation and planning as indoors:

• Explorers & Tweenies have free-access to their outdoor learning environment at the rear of the Nursery

• Pre-School have free-access to a much larger outdoor learning environment at the front of the Nursery

• All Children have free-access to the Eden Garden, an Outdoor Forestry area where they can expore plants and insects

Nursery provides suitable out door protective clothing such as sun hats, wellies and rain coats.

Outdoor play is planned and organised to provide a variety of activities using carefully chosen apparatus and wheeled toys in a safe environment.

The nursery is well situated to enable the children to visit North Bay beach and Peasholm Park.
